While pondering how this heat can affect the future, I saw the movie The Thinning. It is about how America dealt with overpopulation, thus the thinning. 

I honestly like the plot. I can't exactly confirm, but this is the first time I've watched a population-control movie.

My notes:

This movie is a wake-up call.  We don't want to reach this state where we have to make drastic actions to solve the world's problems.  We've talked about this sometimes, me and my son.  I mean like, what happens in the near future?  Can we even bear the heat?  We comforted ourselves by the idea that I no longer want to get pregnant, and my son's path is not going there either.  If we really want additional family member, we can adopt.

My dreams of living a sustainable way of life is getting stronger because of these issues - the heat/cold, the poverty, over-population, corrupt politicians, unfair laws, and the list could go on.
